This project included multiple phases as Telamon was responsible for the demolition of their existing office space before constructing the new addition. With many tie-ins to the factory space being necessary, constant and effective communication between both parties was imperative to the success of this project. This project was constructed during the COVID pandemic which created a few difficulties, such as the separation of work crews and construction staff being off due to illness or quarantine. However, through a commitment to the project along with a diligent workforce, Telamon was able to overcome these obstacles. During the construction process, the owner also decided that it was in their best interest to increase the scope of work and renovate additional areas. Telamon was able to effectively tie in the additional work to their original plans in order to seamlessly continue construction. Telamon’s commitment to the project and desire to exceed customers’ expectations was shown through their ability to deal with unknown conditions and a changing scope of work.
