Telamon Completes Lake Erie Fish Cleaning Station

In the fall of 2022, Telamon was awarded the new Restrooms and Fish Cleaning Station project at the ODNR’s Mazurik Boat Access, in Lakeside Marblehead. Construction started in November and continued through the winter, with completion in April. The project included the installation of two Barracuda Fish Cleaning Stations to service successful anglers fishing Lake Erie, “The Walleye Capital of the World!”

Ohio Governor, Mike DeWine, attended the ribbon cutting ceremony touting the project’s importance to our state’s commitment to providing public access to Ohio’s natural resources. Telamon’s ability to self-perform the carpentry and metal roofing, combined with the efforts of our dedicated trade partners, was the key to this project’s success.
