Telamon served as the general contractor for Precision Alloy when they decided to add to their original building. This 9,669 sf pre-engineered metal building was completed with a canopy overhang, exterior concrete slab, and an asphalt drive leading to the new addition. After running new electrical and interior lighting, the building was then equipped with radiant tube heating and exhaust fans with louvers.
Communication was crucial in this building process as weather delays and constant changes in material shipping dates were prevalent issues, leading to an ever-changing schedule. With excessive amounts of precipitation at the time, Telamon was able to provide pumps to keep water moving away from the site, allowing construction to continue through the unfavorable conditions. Once the addition was completed, Telamon was able to tie into the existing building without ever hindering Precision Alloy’s operations.
