Telamon worked as the design/build contractor for Crown Battery’s new 8,875 sf addition. This addition serves a multitude of purposes as it houses some manufacturing and warehousing operations, along with a locker room and indoor break area. A patio and Canopy were also installed outside to give their employees an accommodating outdoor space to take their breaks.
With an emphasis on time, Telamon chose to use a hybrid steel design to avoid the long lead times that would have been experienced with a full pre-engineered building. This allowed Telamon to start the project at an earlier date and allowed more flexibility in completing the design and obtaining permits. Telamon’s great partnership with Mosser, who did all the concrete work, was crucial to this project's success as it helped to expedite the project timeline while also providing benefits in terms of budget.
Telamon was able to meet a very tight schedule on substantial completion in order to allow the owner early access to the space.
