Erie County Health Department Short Term Housing Facility

In the summer of 2023, Telamon was awarded the contract to construct a new short term housing facility for the Erie County Health Department in Sandusky, Ohio. The project includes the construction of a 7,455 sf building with multiple temporary units for individuals and families that have become displaced in the community due to various circumstances.

With construction beginning in August 2023, features of the new building include Guardian Structural Technologies insulated wall and roofing panels for the exterior of the structure. With foundations and floor slab having been completed, the building is now coming out of the ground as the Guardian panels are set into place.

Telamon’s ability to self-perform the carpentry, fiber cement siding, and metal roofing, combined with the efforts of our dedicated trade partners, will ensure a quality-driven and timely completion of the project.

Construction will continue through the winter months with completion slated for Spring 2024.
